Taking a place somewhere in a desolated island (believed to be in the territorial of England or Japan), the academy is superior and incredibly vast, which is the perfect setting to bury the presence of an atypical power named as Cross.
The founder of the academy, Chris, was also the founder of the power itself. The power for centuries has been misconnected with magic and the existence of the power is rapidly vanishing, possessor of Cross has been hunted for centuries.
Knowing that it would be a shame to let such a power extinct because of misconceptions, Chris bought an island far from the authorities and the eyes of the power hunters, and build tall walls to conceal the possessors of Cross.
When most of schools forbid student fights, the academy made a rule that students have to spar each other, few drops of blood is expected, but there is no other way for the power possessor to survive.
Aside of the blood feuds, students can enjoy their unusual but perhaps-- pleasant school days. Four houses shall be the gathering for students to learn the meaning of comrade, companion, and friendship, the house of fire (Incendia), water (Unda), earth (Terra), and Air (Aer). Each and every house has their own headquarters, and kept hidden from the other houses unless a period named as “Open House” was launched.
