Gibbous Moon

After quite a day, I witnessed the day ends slowly.
The sky was red--- the sun was setting.
Vacantly, I stared at the upper part of the sky.
… when I saw an object familiar yet looks different to me.

The full moon tonight feels rather different.
Strangely there was a feeling it will collide with the course of earth,
It is abnormally close, like there is something… incorrect.
The clear night without stars but one felt extremely weird.

Maybe it’s just me,
In some way it reminds me of the end of the world.
Occasionally, I thought about it before I went to sleep.
Trying to get a picture, I am always too scared to imagine further.

I know imagining the Armageddon would be no use.
All I have to do is to believe in it,
Believe that the promised day will come, someday.
… in any case, I should not think deeply about it.

True… the future is still unknown, and no one can actually foretell.
Tick tock tick tock, the clock is still ticking.
However,
The amount of sand left in the upper part of the hourglass keeps depleting.

Ah, I can’t seem to put the proper images in my head,
I am just hoping to be no longer here when the sun stops shining.
Although this is “a dream”,

Life is a gift and a curse in a different way,

When people take them for granted… then… life will also take them for granted.

The universe is simply aging,
